Guide for Authors

Dear authors, before submitting the article, please pay attention to the following:

1- According to the rules of Isfahan University, registration, and submission of articles should be made only by faculty members of Universities and Research Institutions. The corresponding author of the articles extracted from these must be introduced as the supervisor.

2- The corresponding author's email must be academic (ac.).

3- Make sure the affiliations of the article correspond with the journal profile. According to the rules of Isfahan University, it is not possible to change the order, the count, the scientific rank, and the specifications of the authors and the corresponding author at any stage. (Graduate students should check the rules of their university beforehand.)

4- If the respected authors have an article under review in the journal, they should not submit their next article before the judgment of the first article.

5- When submitting an article, it is necessary to send the following three files according to the following conditions.

5-1- The main file of the article: the article should not contain the affiliation section.

5-2- The authors' profile files: This file should contain the affiliation. The number and order of names in this file and what is registered in the system should be the same.

5-3- Conflict of interest file: Download and complete the conflict of interest file from this section.

6- Writers' commitment file: Download and complete the commitment file from this section.

7- In the system of the publication, the organizational affiliations section should be entered exactly as follows:

 -Educational department, faculty, university (educational institution), city, country

-Department, Faculty, University (Institution), City, Country

8- All the articles sent to this journal will be compared through the iThenticate software before going through the review process.

9- The review of articles in this publication is subject to payment:

Fee payment is made only electronically and through the publication system. Initial cost: 100,000 Tomans, admission fee: 250,000 Tomans

Due to the non-abuse of the Isfahan University website, this system is not related to any institution and as to payment pattern, please refer to the Isfahan University Publications System and refrain from making payments to unrelated organizations for printing a separate article.

10- At the stage where payment is required, an email will be sent to all authors.

Note: If your article has a financial sponsor or provider of research credit or is derived from a research plan, it is mandatory to mention this information in a paragraph in the Acknowledgments section. The place of this paragraph should be at the end of the article before the reference list.

Font type and size:

Article title: IRLotus black and size 16.

Authors’ name(s): IRLotus thin and size 12.

The "almakhs" and "keywords" words: IRLotus black and size 12.

Abstract and keywords: IRLotus thin and size 12.

Arabic and Farsi text: IRLotus thin and size 14.

Writing guide:

Keywords should be separated by commas and no full stop should be put at their end.

Direct quotations should be placed between double quotation marks.

There should not be a space between punctuation marks and the previous word.

There should be a space between the punctuation marks and the next word.

The beginning and ending words inside brackets and alike, should not be separated from them, such as: (in grammarians' terms), "guarantee", and "syntax".

In Arabic texts, the letter "v" (and) is attached to the word after it.

The manner of writing Maqsoorah (A), Mangutah (Y), and Arabic (K) should be completely observed, like الي, يقضي, عليك.

The writing manner of both connecting and disconnecting words should be strictly followed, like أکرم، إلی، استقل، أورد، ابتلاء.

The names of any book in the text should be written in italics.

Numbers related to main and sub-headings should be written as 1-1. / 1-1-1.

The recording of the English announcement must be expressed in the footnote.

Only the English equivalent of terms are allowed in the footnote.

In-text references should be presented as follows: The referencing method is based on APA, for example:

Qur'an: (Surah name, Surah number: Verse number).

Books and articles: (last name, publication year, vol. number, p./pp.

Electronic source: (author's name, access date). If the author's name is not mentioned, the title of the article or the name of the website should be expressed.

For the solar year, use the abbreviated "AH" and for the lunar year, use the "H" and for the Gregorian year, use the abbreviated "M" and place it without a space after the year.

Abbreviations "Vol." and "p." should be used to refer to the Volume and page, respectively, with a space between their corresponding numbers.

If there is no publication date, place of publication, publisher, the abbreviations "P.D", "P.P" and "P" should be used respectively in the book.

Examples: (Al-Baqarah 2: 25), (Umar, 2008, p. 290), (Al-Nawiri, 1440 AH, vol. 2, p. 467), (Azarnoosh, 1392 H.S., p. 23), (Daif, D.T., p. 87 ), (Jaafarian, 3/11/2018).

To separate in-text references, a semicolon (;) should be inserted, such as: (Daif, 1422 AH, p. 45; Farroukh, 1999, p. 426).

In case of showing two-page numbers, they should be written from small to big and from right to left, like (Zarinkoob, 1343 AH, pp. 143-154).

The sources that are mentioned in the background of the discussion must be mentioned in the list of final sources.

In the list of final sources, books and articles are written together, while electronic sources are written separately.

In the article reference list the author(s) name, follows the alphabetic order, in Arabic, Farsi, and English separate sections.

Asher's name is the same as the family name, famous title or nickname, or the surname of the author of the work. In Arabic names that are two or three words long, the last part is considered a family name.

If English sources are used, the author(s) name should be written in the language of the article in the references within the text.

 

If the number of authors is more than one, proceed as follows:

Two authors: Sadri Afshar, Gholamhossein; and Nastern Hakkami.

Three authors: Sadri Afshar, Gholam Hossein; Nestern Hakkami; and Nasreen Hakkami.

Four authors: Sadri Afshar, Gholamhossein; and others (in Farsi language) / and last ones (in Arabic language).

The subtitle of the article or book is inserted after the main title and putting two dots.

The exact details of the sources must be expressed at the end of the text as follows:

Author's family name, first name. (The year of publication with the abbreviation H.S./E/M). The title of the book is in italics and black. Translation/research/description + translator, researcher, and commentator names, volume, publication address, and publisher.

If the reference is an article, it should be expressed as follows:

Author's family name, author's name, (publication year in two bows), title in double quotations, the publication name in italics and black, volume number, the beginning and the end page numbers.

For example: Walid Jaradat, Raed. (2015 AD). "The structure of the artistic image in the modern poetic text: Nazq al-Malaikah, a model". Damascus University. Vol. 29, Vol. 1, pp. 551-583.

If the source is a thesis, it should be written as follows:

Researcher's last and first names, (year of defense). Thesis title (italics and black). Master's Thesis / Doctoral Dissertation. University name. Name of the faculty.

Like: Shams, Ali. (1382 AH). Discussion in Al-Jahiliin and Al-Makhdermin poetry.... Master's Thesis. Isfahan University All foreign languages

If the source was electronic, it should be written as follows:

Author(s) last and first names, city, and the title of the article are in italics and black. Access date: Internet address in the next line in the left-hand column.

Essential points:

   1- The author/authors of the research are responsible for the scientific and legal content of the work.

   2- The article extracted from students' academic theses must contain the student and supervisor’s names, and the supervisor is responsible for the content.

   3- The journal reserves the right to review the article content for its literary value without affecting its content.

   4- The article is sent confidentially to three expert reviewers in this field for evaluation.

   5- The journal reserves the right to accept or reject the article, knowing that it will be excused for not returning it.

   6- The article will be published in each issue according to the authors' names in alphabetical order.

   7- The opinion(s) of the author(s) is/are reflected in the article.

   8- The cost of printing for foreigners is $50 for each article or its equivalent in other currencies.
